What are the reception hours?

Reception hours are 8am to 5pm Mon – Fri and 9am to 4pm on weekends and public holidays. For late arrivals, or if you require assistance outside these hours, after hours management are onsite.

Is there car parking available on site?

We have car parking available for guests free of charge which can be accessed from Caryota Close, off Williams Esplanade. Please note we do have a height restriction of 1.8m at the entry point into the car park. Car parking spaces are limited and are available on a first in basis. Parking is also available along Williams Esplanade.

Do you supply beach or pool towels?

We have pool and beach towels available at Reception for guest use at the pool, beach or day trips out to the reef.

Do you have free wi-fi?

Free wi-fi is available throughout the resort and all rooms. Login access for the wi-fi is given to guests upon checking in to the resort.

Are there cooking facilities in the rooms?

Our one and two bedroom suites have kitchenette facilities with a cooktop in them. All other room types don’t have a cooktop but do have crockery, cutlery, microwave, bar fridge and toaster. There are also BBQ facilities available onsite for guest use.

How deep is the pool and is it heated in Winter?

Our pool ranges in depth from 1.1m to 2.7m. The pool is not heated, however our spa is.

What are the pool opening / closing times?

Our pool area is open 24hrs. We do ask between the hours of 8pm and 8am, you show respect for other guests and keep noise to a minimum.

Can you swim year round at the beach?

Swimming is available year round at Palm Cove but please be aware that during November to May, nets are put out for protection against marine stingers. Please read the daily lifeguard board on the beach, or see the lifeguard on duty, for up to date information on what is happening in the water. We urge guests to always swim between the red and yellow flags and not to swim at night, or when the beach is unpatrolled.

Are there BBQ facilities available on-site?

We have a BBQ entertainment area located in the courtyard adjacent to our pool area. This is free for guests to use and has a wok burner, hotplate and grill facilities. Alternate BBQ facilities managed by the council are located on the beachfront.

Do you offer airport transfers for guests?

We can organise Airport transfers for guests with an outside company, we just require your flight details. Please contact reception for prices or to arrange a transfer.

Do the rooms have minibars?

Our rooms do not contain minibars however there is a range of refreshments and alcoholic beverages available for purchase from Reception.

Is there public transport from Palm Cove to Cairns City?

The local bus company, Sunbus do run a bus service from Palm Cove to Cairns and return. For prices and times please visit www.sunbus.com.au.

Are your rooms serviced daily?

No – bookings of 8 nights or more receive a mid-stay service. If you do wish to have a daily service, it can be arranged at an additional fee. Onsite management are available for servicing, or any housekeeping requirements, if needed.

Are we able to book tours at the resort, and will they pick up from the resort?

We have a tour desk located in the reception area of the resort which is open 8am to 4pm daily. All operators will pick up and drop off at the front entrance of the resort.

Do all your rooms have a beach view?

The majority of our rooms overlook our pool and spa area, however, we do have a few rooms with beach views. Please view our accommodation page for information on our room types.

Is there a guest laundry or dry cleaning service available?

We have a guest laundry located on the ground floor, in the car park. It has two washing machines and two dryers. Laundry powder is available for purchase. There are drying racks available from reception. A dry cleaning service is available Monday to Friday, please enquire at reception.

Is the resort smoke free?

YES – Our property is smoke free, you must leave the premises to smoke.

Do all rooms have an in-room safe?

All rooms contain safes. These are located in the wardrobe.

Do your rooms have Pay TV / Foxtel?

All rooms have Smart TVs offering free-to-air TV, as well as Netflix and YouTube access.

Are all rooms accessible by lift / elevator?

Only the 1st and 2nd floors are accessible by elevator, access to the 3rd floor is only accessible by stairs. Please let Reception know at time of booking if you require a room with elevator access. Please also note the majority of our bathrooms are a shower over the bath combination so please advise if you do require a shower only access bathroom.
